 Tromsø is renowned for breeding innovative artists within the electronic music field. Insomnia Festival seeks to evolve the creative energy this has given rise to by creating a plattform for new electronic music and techno culture. It's a festival for innovative electronic music – which means music created with electronic contraptions. The creative process within the genre is as varied as the music itself, and the festival hopes to sample a variety of it. Created on 2011/9/22
 Since its very first edition, the Numusic Festival has distinguished itself as an international meeting point for original, progressive and avant garde programming.  Unsound Krakow was established in 2003 in Krakow, Poland, as a festival of advanced music. Starting out as an underground event, in recent years the festival has grown in size and name. Fundacja Tone currently produces the annual festival in Krakow in October each year, and in spring 2012 will produce the third Unsound Festival New York with local producers, curators, venues and cultural institutes in that city.  Robin Fox is an artist straddling the often artificial divide between audible and visible arts. As an audio-visual performance artist his work has featured in festivals worldwide. His groundbreaking work with Chunky Move has contributed to the recent piece Mortal Engine winning a Helpmann award for Best Visual Production and an Honorary mention at the illustrious Prix Ars Electronica. He also scored the critically acclaimed work Connected with Oren Ambarchi and has produced two works, RGBand Drift, with groundbreaking new choreographer Antony Hamilton. Created on 2011/9/21

The 30th International Barcelona Comicon will be held from the 3rd to the 6th of May 2012 at the Fira de Barcelona, in the centre of the city.
